Speaking of the Weather: HERMINE

Hermine is the lastest Tropical Storm to receive a name this hurricane season. Being a new resident to the Gulf Coast, I am keenly interested in following the news on this system as it progresses. The storm actually formed in the Gulf of Mexico quietly while Earl was getting much attention as it headed up the east coast of the U.S.

Earl fizzled out and the Labor Day weekend progressed. Now we are looking at starting our short work week on Tuesday with our new visitor; Hermine.

We have had some wind and rain most of the day in Houston, but expect the weather conditions will get more dicey in the next 12-24 hours.
